Celebrities are notorious for behaving badly and getting arrested. Why should their kids be any different? It was a tough weekend for the son of Robert Downey, Jr. and the grandson of Ice – T, as they were both behind bars. Robert Downey, Jr.’s son Indio Downey, 20, was busted for cocaine possession on Sunday. Arresting officers stopped the car Downey was riding in with two other people after seeing a passenger smoking from a pipe at a traffic stop in Hollywood. After searching the car, officers found a controlled substance and the pipe. He was charged with possession and drug paraphernalia. Indio didn’t stay behind bars long. He was released after midnight by posting $10,000 bail. Father Downey Jr. had faced his own sobriety issues and numerous run-ins with the law before kicking the habit in 2002. He released a statement to People. “Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it,” he told the magazine Monday. “Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being.” He goes on to thank the Sheriff’s office for assisting in the intervention so that Indio can continue being a success story. 
Law & Order actor-rapper Ice-T’s grandson Elyjah Marrow, 19, may not have it so easy. Marrow, son of Ice-T’s first child Tesha Marrow, was taken into custody after he accidentally shot and killed his roommate Daryus Johnson, 19, last week in Ga. Elyjah had previously been a part of Ice-T’s short-lived reality show. He was reportedly playing with the gun when it discharged. Officers charged him with involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm. He is being held without bail at the Cobb County jail in GA. Ice-T has not commented at this time. 
Whitney Houston‘s only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has quite the attitude problem. Since her mother’s unfortunate passing, Bobbi Kristina has openly displayed her anger. From going off in public on her grandma Cissy Houston to secretly marrying Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina has been in the media for her foul mouth. Recently, Lifetime announced a biopic based on her mother’s life and frantic relationship with bad boy Bobby Brown to be directed by Whitney’s former costar Angela Bassett. In her most childish move to date, Bobbi Kris hurled insults at the actress for saying she wasn’t the perfect choice to play her mother in the biopic. Seems the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Whitney and shock jock turned daytime television host Wendy Williams got into a verbal spat about Whitney’s reported drug abuse problems. Hopefully that aspect of her life doesn’t make it into the proposed biopic.
Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, had managed to stay under the radar from the public eye. That is until his 2012 arrest. While playing basketball for the University of Central Florida, “Heir Jordan” was arrested by cops for having too much to drink. Jordan was reportedly arguing with two women outside of an Embassy Suites in Omaha, NE. The 6’3 guard struggled with police officers as they attempted to restrain him. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction. At least he appears to be smiling in his mugshot. His father reportedly shot at an officer in 1995. The officer was so happy to be associated with the basketball star that he never filed charges. 
Reverend Run, legendary member of Run DMC, now has words of wisdom for the rest of the world. After the grueling tour life and all the requisite hijinks left him feeling empty, Rev Run embraced a more wholesome, God-fearing lifestyle, which included a Bible approved courtship before marrying his wife Justine in 1994 and becoming an ordained minister in 2004. That’s why when his son Joseph “Jojo” Simmons was arrested for attempting to buy weed, fans of the Simmons family were shocked. The younger Simmons was spotted by NYPD purchasing marijuana and rolling it into a joint. Simmons reportedly attempted to evade police by reversing his car, which almost struck a police cruiser. 
Real Housewives of Atlanta Linnethia Nene Leakes has made no secret of her criminal past. In her 2009 autobiography Never Make the Same Mistake Twice she talked about her history of shoplifting. Leakes also racked up felony charges and misdemeanor counts of “theft services” from the phone company. Leakes’ son Bryson Bryant also has issues keeping his hands off merchandise in stores. He was arrested in 2011 for shoplifting from Walmart. He also racked up charges for marijuana possession and driving with a revoked suspended license.
