Ashton Kutcher finally did it. A little over one year after breaking up with Demi Moore, he officially filed for a divorce. The “Two And A Half Men” star allegedly wanted to give Moore the opportunity to start the divorce proceedings, but wound up taking the reins himself.
After rumors of infidelity rocked their marriage, Moore says she is “genuinely happy” and ready to move on, according to TMZ.
Kutcher and Moore announced their split in November 2011 after six years of marriage. The two actors were married in 2005 and do not have any children together. According to TMZ, “Kutcher hired celebrity attorney Laura Wasser and on Friday filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.”
People.com reports, Kutcher is not requesting alimony and has asked the judge to deny Moore financial aid if she requests it. Kutcher, 34, is now dating his former “That ’70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis, while 50-year-old Moore was recently romantically linked to the 26-year-old art collector Vito Schnabel, son to director Julian Schnabel.
