Trouble seems to follow Katt Williams. The 39-year-old comedian is being sued by his female assistant for 5 million dollars.
His assistant, Melissa Ishage, claims Williams hit her and filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, according to TMZ.
Ishage said, while at Williams’s home on October 6th, he attacked her–punching her and causing her “serious and permanent injuries.” The attorney for Ishage said, Williams hit her in the head and knocked her to the ground. Police responded to the incident, but no one was arrested. It is currently under investigation.
So far, Ishage hasn’t said why Williams allegedly attacked her. But, she insists she had to receive hospital treatment for her injuries and 5 million dollars should be shelled out. According to TMZ, representatives for Williams are keeping quiet.
