Is An NBA Team Too White?

The 2012-2013 Minnesota Timberwolves might be the whitest team in the NBA since the heyday of Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. The Post Game asks why the T-Wolves, lead by stars like Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio, have only five African-American players on their opening day roster. Most NBA teams have 11 or more black players, but the T-Wolves seem to be bucking the trend.

New T-Wolves player Brandon Roy, who will be the only African-American player to start for the team on opening night, says it doesn’t matter.
