Don’t mind Chris Brown, he’s just trying to reach his “controversy” quota for the year.

On Wednesday, the 23-year-old singer and his buddies made their way to Rihanna‘s Halloween bash in West Hollywood in an interesting set of costumes that have caused quite a stir. The party of five took on their version of Arab terrorists, with turbans, beards and automatic weapons to boot.
“Ain’t nobody F–king wit my clique!!! #ohb,” he captioned the photo, unaware of the potential backlash. While some decorated members of #TeamBreezy laughed it off as “just Halloween,” others found his choice of clothing to be poorly thought out and insensitive.

Joyce Hawkins, Brown’s mother, quickly took to Twitter to defend her son and remind everyone that October 31 is just a silly holiday.
“HALLOWEEN IS FOR FUN NOTHING MORE THAN JUST FUN,” she wrote. “GET A LIFE PLEASE.” (yes, in all caps.)
