UPTOWN_sperm_eggWant to get pregnant, but don’t want to visit a sperm bank or spend thousands of dollars? New online services allow donors to make their sperm available by having sex — for free. Donors connect with women on the Internet who want to become mothers “the natural way” at no cost to the would-be moms.

ABC News’ “20/20″ tackled the new unconventional way of family planning and spoke with one sperm donor, who calls himself “Joe.” This man has fathered more than 30 children. Joe, who wants his identity concealed because his wife is unaware of his extracurricular activities, has authored a book about his experiences entitled, Get Pregnant for Free on the Internet with a Private Sperm Donor.

When Joe is not working as an Internet entrepreneur, he travels around the country, having sex with strangers and impregnating them. After seven years, Joe said he has slept with over 100 women.

When asked how many children he expected to father over his lifetime, Joe’s answer was surprising.

“The World Health Organization said I can get up to 2,500, but I don’t think that will happen in my lifetime. The other donors I know who have a lot [of children] are up there around the 100 range. I’m standing on the shoulders of giants.”

But is Joe a serial cheater under the guise of doing something good?

Catch the full story on “20/20″ on ABC today, November 14, at 10 p.m. EST.
