If you follow this singing Braxton sister on reality TV, then you know that all Tamar Braxton wants is to be a star, and for everyone to know her name. In the entertainment business, however, fame comes at price. In this case – literally.
It is being reported that the over-the-top, Grammy-nominated artist has used the song lyrics and vocals of another songwriter for her song “One on One Fun.” The song was co-written by Angela Hunte and Emmi Kozulin, who also recorded her own version of the song. As co-writer, Hunte sold the song lyrics to Braxton for use on her hit album, Love and War. But here’s the problem … in addition to the song lyrics, Kozulin claims that Braxton has also used her vocals on the song. Now she is demanding 50 percent of the royalties, plus damages, and has filed a lawsuit.
However, this really is an issue between Braxton’s team, Hunte, and Kozulin, not Tamar she, herself, her.
