It’s been quite the journey down the aisle for Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, but the couple have finally made things official.
In Touch reports “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” pair exchanged vows Friday (April 4) during a ceremony in Atlanta. While there’s no word on those in attendance, Burruss and Tucker were said to be married off in front of family and friends.
“This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me,” the former Xscape singer said in a statement. “And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!”
Burruss and Tucker met in 2011 while filming season four of “RHOA” and became engaged in January 2013. Their union was met by opposition from Burruss’ mother Joyce “Mama Joyce” Jones who has publicly voiced her disapproval of her daughter’s relationship.
Tucker joins the family that also includes Burruss’ 11-year-old daughter Riley from a previous relationship.
