Former Paper editor Zandile Blay splits her time between Nigeria and the United States as Editor-in-Chief of Hello! Nigeria Magazine and professor of fashion journalism at Syracuse University. She describes Lagosian style as, “Houston socialite meets Atlanta housewife meets Vegas showgirl.”

Adebayo Oke-Lawal is the designer behind Orange Culture, a burgeoning line that draws from the strength and playfulness of the city’s inhabitants. “Lagos is one of the most vibrant cities in the world. It is colorfully diverse, artistically rich and a roller coaster of cultures,” he says.

Former “Top Model” candidate Eku Edewor believes that Lagosians reflect a style that is universally fashionable and effortlessly on trend. “People dress up every day, it’s so fascinating. Everyone is a fashionista or fashionisto.”
