Debuting No. 1 on the iTunes charts all around the world, Ariana Grande shines with her album Yours Truly.
With songs like “The Way” and “Baby I” making the Billboard Hot 100 chart, she is destined for a great start in pop music. Some compare her to a young Mariah Carey with her amazing vocal power. The Chicago Reader says, “She’s got Carey’s infectiously bubbly personality, breathy voice, and impressive range, and if it’s only a B+ Mariah impression that’s still more than enough to carry a single.”
And this future superstar has been doing this her whole life, performing on Broadway and having a hit show on Nickelodeon. “People got to know me first as an actress, but my mom said I’m a singer who acts on the side, but now they are gonna get to know Ariana the little brunette girl from Boca [Raton, Florida] who loves music more than anything,” said Grande to The Inquisitr.
