A jury of six women found George Zimmerman not guilty on charges of second degree murder.
After two weeks of proceedings, 56 witnesses, and almost 16 hours of deliberations, the verdict was announced in the courtroom, shortly before 10:20pm on Saturday evening. George Zimmerman’s stoic face relaxed slightly, and a he offered a small smile as he shook hands with his legal team.
Twitter timelines exploded swiftly, united in disbelief. Amongst the most notable reactions were those from celebs, some of whom relayed particularly raw, uncensored musings:
