DMX says the Oprah Winfrey Network failed to hold up their end of the bargain for his episode of the hit series “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” The 42-year-old troubled rapper says the network tricked him into revealing details about his drug abuse.
According to TMZ, DMX is upset about his one-on-one with self-help guru Iyanla Vanzant because questions about his addiction to women were the only ones approved prior to taping. Questions about his history of drug abuse, however, were not.
“Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings,” DMX said. “That lady is toxic… My last words to her were that she can suck my d**k and she still can.”
This may help explain why DMX appeared agitated and the exchange between the two was so hostile. According to reports, DMX recently consulted his legal team to explore options. He also wants the episode removed from the OWN Network.
