After a night of arguments, drama, and booze while taping the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” reunion show, Yung Berg landed himself in the slammer. He allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Masika Tucker because his credit card was declined Nov. 4.

After taping the LHHH reunion in New York, Berg’s credit card was declined because he was over the limit, according to TMZ. He angrily fled to the Gershwin Hotel in Manhattan and Tucker followed.

At the hotel, Tucker told Berg that she paid his bill and they began arguing about him leaving her. Then, in the middle of the dispute about their relationship, Berg grabbed his Tucker by the neck and threw her on a bed. He then took her by the hair and pulled her out of the room. According to TMZ’s source, he began choking Tucker.

The police were contacted at around 2:15 a.m., ABC News reported. Police said Tucker told them she was in pain, but did not want to receive medical attention.

Berg was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. He was scheduled to be in court today.

Berg’s ex-flame, Hazel E, apparently had a few words to say about the incident. After the news broke, she released a tweet about karma:

In response to Michael Jordan‘s radio interview describing him as a “sh**ty golfer,” President Barack Obama points out that the Hornets owner should spend more time focused on his team’s 1-3 record, than analyzing other people’s golf handicaps via TMZ.

Molly Shattuck was first famous for becoming the oldest cheerleader in NFL history 9 years ago, but now she is the topic of discussion again after her Monday arrest for raping a 15-year-old boy.

In late September, a teenaged boy who is friends with Shattuck’s son of the same age contacted law enforcement and claimed that the former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader sexually molested him and offered him alcohol, WJZ News reported.  He said Shattuck, 47, first began contacting him over Instagram and texting him.  The relationship first became physically inappropriate when the two met at a movie theater one night and began kissing and touching sexually, according to a warrant issued by Delaware State Police.

Police said sexual contact between the woman and teen escalated over Labor Day weekend when he and some friends were invited over Shattuck’s beach-house in Bethany Beach, Delaware.  Shattuck allegedly left the boys and her son at the house while she went to buy some beer.  When she returned, she offered her accuser the alcohol.  He told police she then asked him to come with her to walk her dog.  While her son and other teens were on the rooftop, Shattuck allegedly performed oral sex on the 15-year-old.  Later that night, according to the warrant, she took him into her room and stripped in front of him and then performed oral sex again.  The teen told police that she offered intercourse, but that was when he decided to leave her room.

Shattuck was arrested Monday and charged with third-degree rape, unlawful sexual contact and providing alcohol to a minor, according to ABC13.  Shattuck denies the allegations.

Shattuck’s community is stunned by the allegations made against her.  One of her neighbors spoke to WJZ News about their reaction.  “I was shocked, but mostly saddened. Very, very sad,” the neighbor told a WJZ reporter.

The former cheerleader was even forced to resign from her board of directors position at United Way of Central Maryland.  The organization released a statement on the matter:

“This morning, United Way of Central Maryland learned of criminal indictments filed in Delaware against Molly Shattuck, a board member and long time volunteer. Today, Ms. Shattuck tendered her resignation from the Board of Directors. She will no longer participate in any United Way of Central Maryland volunteer activities.”

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, the 22-year-old woman who was abducted from the street in Philadelphia, was found alive in Maryland on Wednesday and the man responsible has been arrested for kidnapping.

“I’m taking my baby home. Thank you,” said Keisha Gaither, the woman’s elated mother. Her family erupted into applause as she spoke.

Officials said that Freeland-Gaither was rescued from the car of her abductor, 37-year-old Delvin Barnes, on the side of a road in Jessup. Maryland. She suffered some injuries and has been taken to a hospital in Columbia, Maryland for treatment. She’s listed in good condition and is expected to recover soon.

The young woman was grabbed at around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday in Germantown, Pennsylvania as she was walking home from visiting her godson. She was forced down the street and into a car. She fought her attacker and struggled to get away, even breaking out the window of the car. The entire ordeal was caught on surveillance tape.

Edward Hanko, special agent-in-charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia division, said agents acted on tips from the public to track down Barnes’ car. Detectives got a break in the case from a woman living in Harve De Grace, Maryland. A woman, who chose to remain unidentified, found a bag of trash with a receipt from an ACME supermarket in North Philadelphia, broken glass and a bag of Herr’s potato chips. The woman told NBC10 that she initially thought it was just trash until she heard about the story and called in to report it.

Detectives were able to use the receipt to find surveillance tapes of Barnes in the supermarket. Authorities tracked the car on Wednesday and an FBI task force moved in to take him into custody when he exited his car on the 7200 block of Waterloo Road in Jessup, said Hanko.

“We worked tirelessly, around the clock, investigated every lead that we had, and we really appreciate the public coming forward giving us a hand, giving us all the information that we were able to sit there and work on,” Philadelphia Police Northwest Detective Division Capt. James Smith said.

Barnes has a long history with the law, including an incident with his ex-wife and in-laws in November 2005 that ended with him being charged with rape, burglary, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment, according to court documents.

A Philadelphia police caravan brought around 15 members of Freeland-Gaither’s family to reunite with her. They plan to bring her back to Philadelphia overnight if she is allowed to be released from the hospital.

“Thank you so much for having us in your prayers, thank you for keeping me up. Thank you for being there for us,” Gaither said.

The CDC released a new report suggesting that not enough women are being screened for cervical cancer, a disease that kills over 4,000 women a year.

The new Vital Signs report, released this month, says 11 percent of women ages 21 to 65 (about 8 million women) haven’t been screened for cervical cancer in five years. The percentage number is higher for women without a regular primary doctor or health insurance. That number is also higher for older women, Asians, Pacific Islanders, Alaskan natives, and American Indians.

Pap smears and HPV (human papillomavirus) screenings can help physicians detect cervical cancer in its early stages, before it’s too late. Studies suggest that the HPV vaccine could prevent around 93 percent of cases of cervical cancer. Most health organizations recommend women receive a pap smear every three years after the age of 21. Cancer organizations suggest that women between the ages of 30 and 65 should have both a pap smear and an HPV screening every five years.

“Every visit to a provider can be an opportunity to prevent cervical cancer by making sure women are referred for screening appropriately,” CDC Principal Deputy Director Ileana Arias said in a statement Wednesday. “We must increase our efforts to make sure that all women understand the importance of getting screened for cervical cancer. No woman should die from cervical cancer.”

If you’re a fan of “Hollywood Exes,” then you probably saw this one coming. Will Smith‘s ex-wife and “Hollywood Exes” star Sheree Fletcher has officially filed for divorce from her second husband, Terrell Fletcher. The reality star filed court documents at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

The couple married in 2007 and has been reportedly separated since July. Fletcher is seeking spousal support from the retired NFL star turned pastor. The specific amount of support has not been disclosed. The couple did not have any children.

It’s unclear what pushed the two to end their marriage, but on “Hollywood Exes,”  it appeared that there was tension caused by Terrell’s expectations of Sheree as the first lady of his church.

Fletcher, who’s professional credits include cameos in “A Different World,” “All of Us,” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” where she met her first husband, Smith. The pair married in 1992, but divorced three years later. The former flames have one son between them, Trey Smith, 21.

No, this is not the 1960s, although the new U.S. Army policy may make you feel otherwise.

The October 22 update to command procedures has made “Negro” an acceptable term to use when describing African-American soldiers. The term, which holds prejudicial undertones and has been widely discontinued since the ’60s, can justifiably be used to classify “a person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa,” according to section 6-2 of the Army’s AR 600–20 regulations. The same clause, a part of the Army’s equal opportunity policy, also gives the OK to use “Haitian,” in addition to the more common “Black” or “African-American” labels.

The racial definitions in the regulation are outdated, said Lt. Col. Justin Platt, an Army spokesman, in a statement.

The definitions are “currently under review and will be updated shortly,” he said. “The Army takes pride in sustaining a culture where all personnel are treated with dignity and respect and not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, gender and national origin.”

About 21 percent of active-duty members of the Army are Black, according to Defense Power Research.

New malware has been discovered, which specifically targets Apple, Inc. products. It’s called “WireLurker.”

The vicious virus was discovered by cybersecurity software maker Palo Alto Networks, based out of Santa Clara, California. WireLurker zeroes in on OS X desktop software and Apple’s iOS mobile operating system, downloading malicious third party apps on iPhones and iPads. 

The malware seems to be targeting users only in China now, according to The New York Times. But the West isn’t out the clear yet, as the breach has the potential to grow into a much larger threat. As The Times notes, Palo Alto Networks says the malware is “the biggest in scale we have ever seen.” It has been active in China for the last six months- first infecting Mac computers.

It is called WireLurker because of the malware’s ability to sense when you plug an iPhone or iPad into your computer running OS X. Once that happens, it begins to install malicious apps on your device. Once installed, the malware can collect information from iOS devices, including contacts and iMessages, with capabilities to request updates from attackers.

It’s unclear what the malware creator is after, but the code is continuously being updated, and is deemed active.

GoldieBlox, a toy company geared toward teaching girls about engineering, has released a new video ad unveiling a female action figure.

GoldieBlox is no stranger to unconventional music video advertisements.  In the past, ads for the girls toy company have featured young ladies singing a female-empowerment version of “Girls” by Beastie Boys and even a revised “We Are the Champions” by Queen. But GoldieBlox is dedicated to helping girls ages 4 to 9 break gender stereotypes by developing building skills, so it’s only right that the company would break the mold in terms of typical toy commercials, but now they are shaking things up with an action figure made specifically for girls.

The company’s newest promotional video, which according to AdWeek, is an ode to Apple’s ’1984′ Superbowl commercial, begins with the statement “Fashion dolls teach girls to value beauty over brains…one is sold every 3 seconds.”  A robotic-sounding woman, “Big Sister,” states repetitively, “You are beauty, and beauty is perfection.”

Several young girls wearing the same pink outfits and heels walk down a runway to Metric’s “Help I’m Alive” in a doll-making factory.  As each model picks up her own doll, one girl wearing red sneakers and a tool-belt is shown.  The odd girl decides to step out of bounds, setting off an alarm.  She grabs a hammer from her tool-belt and beats the “Big Sister” machine, causing the models to break free of their heels and zombie-like state.

As the video closes, it reads “In 2014, GoldieBlox breaks the mold with an action figure for girls.”  A small, blonde doll with a tool-belt and a hammer is revealed.

So far, it looks as though no black GoldieBlox action figure friends are being sold just yet, but hey, perhaps it is in the works.  Nonetheless, an action figure promoting little girls’ interests in math, science, and technology-related activities is quite innovative, and even pretty revolutionary.

The CMA Awards aired Wednesday night, and singer and co-host Brad Paisley, who is no stranger to controversy, made a racial joke about the new comedy “Black-ish” that some found extremely troubling.

Darius Rucker, one of the only Black faces in modern country music, was preparing to hit the stage when Paisley made a comment about the new ABC show “Black-ish,” which typically would have aired Wednesday night.

“If you were looking for ‘Black-ish’ tonight, yeah, this ain’t it,” said Paisley. “In the meantime, I hope you enjoy ‘White-ish.’”

Many viewers took to Twitter to call Paisley a “racist,” while others defended his comments as being all in good humor, reported USA Today.

This is the second time Paisley has made headlines for racial comments. He and rapper LL Cool J came under fire last year when the artists collaborated on the country-rap song “Accidental Racist,” which many listeners suspected to be an inappropriate approach to race and racism. Paisley sings about how he feels as if he is “walkin’ on eggshells” as a proud Southern white man who enjoys wearing Confederate Blags, while LL offers questionable lyrics like  “RIP Robert E. Lee, but I’ve gotta thank Abraham Lincoln for freeing me, know what I mean.”  Paisley later told Entertainment Weekly that he did not have racist intentions when creating the song, but rather, wanted to mend race relations.

The father of R&B star Mary J. Blige, 63-year-old Thomas Blige, is receiving justice now that the woman who attacked him with a knife earlier this year is being sentenced to jail.

Cheryl White, 50,  of Battle Creek, Michigan was on trial for attempted murder in August for brutally stabbing her boyfriend, Blige, and faced a possible life sentence.  But after a trial in which she plead no contest, she was sentenced to serve the remainder of a one-year stay in jail (she had already served 270 days), as well as five years probation.  White must also pay $17,000 of Blige’s nursing fees.

White attacked Blige on Jan. 23 after he discovered her slashing his tires.  While testifying during the trial, Blige revealed that he and White regularly engaged in domestic disputes.

“Me and Cheryl have serious domestic problems,” Blige said. “The day before [the stabbing incident] we were fighting and the police were called. We have verbal fights multiple times. An enormous number of times.”

Blige also insisted that he did not attempt to hurt his significant other after she assaulted him.  “I didn’t chase her, I approached her,” he said. “I was trying to embrace her out of love. I have never harmed her; I love her and I don’t like the situation she is in.”

Law enforcement reported that the couple had been investigated for domestic violence cases at least seven times within a five-month period before the Jan. 23 incident occurred.

Lesley McSpadden, the mother of slain teen Michael Brown is being investigated for allegedly leading a group of 20 to 30 people to attack vendors selling clothing commemorating her son.  She could face charges for felony armed robbery.

Accusers say the incident took place on Oct. 18 when McSpadden saw a group in a Ferguson, Missouri parking lot selling t-shirts honoring Brown.  The police reports state that several people “jumped out of vehicles and rushed” the group of sellers.  The attackers allegedly began beating people with objects.  One victim was reportedly hit with a pipe while another had injuries so severe from the attack that s/he was hospitalized.

Brown’s paternal grandmother,  Pearlie Gordon, is one of the accusers.  She said that before someone in the group struck her repeatedly in the head, she had an argument with McSpadden.  Gordon, 54, told police that McSpadden said “You can’t sell this shit.”  Gordon then told McSpadden that unless she received proof that Brown’s name is patented, she would continue selling the items.

The police report claims that McSpadden also brought her mother to the scene to engage in the assault. The victims claim that the aggressors stole over $1500 worth of products and $400 in cash.

If law enforcement suspects McSpadden is responsible for the claims, she could face felony armed robbery charges amid news that a jury may or may not convict Officer Darren Wilson of killing her son.

A Pennsylvania couple is accused of beating 3-year-old Scott McMillan to death and assaulting his older brother during a three day reign of torture authorities called an “American horror story”.

Jillian Tait, 31, and Gary Lee Fellenbaum, 23, were arrested and charged with murder for the death of Tait’s 3-year-old and aggravated assault for beating her 6-year-old son,  AP reports. The couple and Tait’s kids resided in Coatsville, PA, in a mobile home shared with Fellenbaum’s 21-year-old estranged wife and their 11 – month-old daughter. There in the mobile home, the couple engaged in weeks of abuse that escalated into an “unspeakable act of depravity,” said Chester County District Attorney Thomas Hogan. Sources say the couple hung the Scott upside down by each of his legs, whipped and beat him with a frying pan while laughing.

After beating him unconscious, the couple placed him in the shower then left Scott to die on an uninflated air mattress while the two went car shopping, bought pizza, had sex and napped. Fellenbaum’s estranged wife Amber Fellenbaum,21, called 911 after the boy failed to wake up. By then, the boy had been unresponsive for hours. Fellenbaum was charged for child endangerment for allegedly failing to help the child when she knowingly knew about the abuse.

In the days leading up to his death, Gary Fellenbaum severely beat the boy for refusing to eat toast both Monday and Tuesday morning, authorities said. Gary Fellenbaum disciplined the boy by throwing him against a wall, knocking him off a chair with a punch and then taping him to the chair to keep him upright for more beatings, police said.

The couple are being held without bail until their next court appearance on November 14. Amber Fellenbaum was being held on $500,000 bail.

Starbucks lovers can rejoice! The famous coffee chain announced on Thursday the eggnog latte will once again be available nationwide.

Starbucks initially axed the popular holiday drink from its menu, except in the Pacific Northwest, in an effort to simplify its expanding menu. But on Nov. 1 customers began revolting on social media. The beginning of November is when Starbucks usually rolls out the red cups for its holiday drinks. Customers also began complaining to Starbucks baristas, who delivered the bad news that the drink wasn’t available. An online petition appeared the next day with 2,500 coffee fiends expressing outrage that the beloved eggnog latte was gone.

“The king of Red Cups, the eggnog latte, has been discontinued across the country,” one disgruntled customer wrote.

Social media complaints expressed how Starbucks was the scrooge of the holiday season for taking away the holiday treat. “The eggnog latte was the only thing keeping me from beating people during the holidays. Please bring it back,” one customer wrote on Twitter.

Hearing the complaints, Starbucks quickly issued an apology. “We made a mistake,” spokeswoman Linda Mills told USA Today. “We are very sorry.” The latte should be back in stores nationwide beginning November 17.

Starbucks red cup offerings also include a new Chestnut Praline latte will be rolled out November 12.  The newest holiday menu addition in five years  is made with foamed milk, two espresso shots, four pumps of chestnut praline syrup, whipped cream and praline sprinkles.  A 12oz tall drink with whole milk clocks in at 270 calories while a 20 oz venti is estimated to be 420 calories.

Star of Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Tasha Smith has been ordered to stay two yards away from her husband, after he filed a restraining order against her for death threats.

Keith Douglas, husband of the 43 year old, alleges the actress threatened to kill him during one of her alcohol fueled vents, claiming that she once even warned him to “not fall asleep or something will happen.” He also says Smith has threatened him in front of his own children forcing him to flee the house out of fear.

The couple still resides together, despite the active restraining order. When inside the home, the “For Better or Worse” star is ordered to stay a safe distance, or two yards away, from Douglas. When outside of the residence, she must stay 100 yards away.

Sources close to Tasha say that allegations that she has a drinking problem are absurd. Tasha’s reps have declined to comment on the allegations.

The couple wed in 2010 in a small ceremony at their Los Angeles home. Smith divorced her first husband in 2007.

Another Bravo reality show brawl was caught on tape, as Quad Webb-Lunceford and Lisa Nicole Cloud got into a bloody, physical fight.

The “Married to Medicine” reality stars were having a professional business meeting, when a verbal altercation began a water glass-throwing, fist-pounding showdown. According to reports, both “ladies” performed personal background checks on each other. When they confronted one another about their questionable past, all hell broke loose. Just like when Geneva Thomas and Melyssa Ford came to blows, the Bravo TV cameras captured the altercation. Webb-Lunceford ended up going to the hospital for scratches to the face. Both women filed police reports. There’s no word on who started the fight.

Executive producer, creator, and now former co-star of the medical-reality show Mariah Huq is pregnant with twins. Huq and husband, Dr. Aydin Huq, announced their pregnancy in October.

Hip hop mogul Jay Z has purchased his favorite luxury champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, which also known as Ace of Spades.

Jay Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, purchased the alcohol label from Sovereign Brands for an undisclosed amount. He made the company an offer they “simply couldn’t refuse.”

‘We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally-renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter, the company said in a statement to the New York Times.

The “Big Pimpin’” rapper has been a fan of the champagne, which retails from $300 to $200,000 for a 30 liter bottle, for years. One of the gold bottles was featured in his “Show Me What You Got” music video in 2006. However, Jay Z has had a financial interest in in Armand de Brignac since its inception.

In 2012, a tower of 350 bottles of Armand de Brignac Champagne was the centerpiece at a fundraiser Jay Z and wife Beyoncé Knowles threw at the 40/40 Club in New York City.
