Media mogul Russell Simmons is at work putting together yet another Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball to celebrate the second term of President Barack Obama. Much like the first ball in 2009, the event will highlight the genre’s influence in the re-election of the POTUS.

Simmons organized the ball shortly after Obama’s historic win in 2008 and honored rappers such as T.I., LL Cool J and Young Jeezy for their efforts in motivating young people during the campaign trail. With many celebrities taking the trip to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration, Simmons is setting the price for VIP tickets at $2,500.

General admission tickets will be available for $500, which includes an open bar, food, DJ and a concert, though performers have yet to be announced.

The black-tie event is set to take place at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 20 and proceeds will reportedly benefit the non-profit organization, Philanthropik.
