Never underestimate the importance of rest and replenishment. As we move into the winter months, we are moving into the season of rest. Bears hibernate, trees shed their leaves, and nature just seems to slow down.
We can take some clues from the season and slow down with the environment. Take the time to read a book or write in your journal. Reflect and digest the happenings of the day and quietly commune with yourself.
If you tend to be a busy person, rest can create a sense of balance. You will find that as you incorporate things that replenish your spirit into your schedule, you will have more energy to finish your original goals.
