Jermaine LaJuane Jackson is already getting his resolutions in order for 2013.
It seems he wants a fresh start to the new year, joining the ranks of celebrities who have changed their names.
The 57-year old is looking to change his last name from “Jackson” to “Jacksun,” according to TMZ.
On Tuesday, he filed a name change petition on with L.A, County Superior Court, citing that:
“he wants to make the change for “artistic reasons” … but he does not give any further details about the move.”
The request has NOT yet been approved by a judge.
