Contrary to various media reports, Bobbi Kristina Brown and adopted brother/family friend/boy toy Nick Gordon are not engaged, says a rep for the budding 19-year-old actress.

Last week, the official trailer for The Houstons: On Our Own hit the web leading many to believe that the relationship between Brown and Gordon was far more serious than expected. In a scene from the upcoming docu-series, Brown can be heard exclaiming, “we’re engaged” while sitting down to eat with her family.
But a spokesperson for Brown has cleared up the rumor by denying the engagement, while adding, “You have to watch the show!!!!”

On Our Own will premiere Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
