NBC’s The Biggest Loser got a major lift when Dolvett Quince joined the cast this past season. Aside from his own winning physique and boyishly handsome good looks, viewers were captivated by his firm-yet-compassionate approach to fitness and weight loss. That winning attitude made him an instant fan favorite and, as a result, he is already signed up for his second season of The Biggest Loser.
Before NBC called, however, Dolvett had long been the go-to-fitness guru in Atlanta. Janet Jackson has worked out at Body Sculptor, Inc, his Atlanta-based fitness studio, and he has personally helped sculpt the amazing physiques of Boris Kodjoe and his lovely wife, Nicole Ari Parker-Kodjoe.
To help you get your fitness goals in full swing for 2012, we caught up with Dolvett, who lends his expertise to The Biggest Loser At Home Challenge and The Biggest Loser Calorie Knockout.
Here, his four step action plan for getting fit in 2012, plus what a few words of advice on what you can expect in terms of progress:
Step 1: Getting Started
The first step is you have to write down what your goals are and stick to them. Create a daily planner to make that happen. Give yourself a goal date and say ‘okay, by this date in February, I want to lost 10 pounds.’ Write down your goals and write down what you’re eating.
