“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” are at it again. This time, Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey are engaged in a nasty back-and-forth over comments Williams made, but today, Bailey is taking the high road.
After Williams— apparently upset that she was not invited to one of Bailey’s events— said Bailey’s Ebony photo spread looked like she was competing with Instagram “THOTs,” things got ugly. The two exchanged words over Twitter, with Williams saying Bailey was “flip-flopping” and married an “old man” for his money.
Today, Bailey took to her Bravo blog to voice her opinion of William and her insults.
On Williams’ THOT comments:
“What is a thot? Apparently it means, ‘that hoe over there.’ OK, Porsha saying my Ebony Magazine topless photo looked ‘thot-ish’ is actually too ridiculous for me to address. I was going to go there, but I choose not to waste my time. The ground-breaking, highly revered, historic publication doesn’t require my defense. I am honored and very proud of the creative, stylish, and tastefully directed editorial. I choose to disregard what I consider to be ignorant and move on.”
She also discussed Williams saying she is a flip flopper for putting on a “boss persona” for the cameras:
“I have known Porsha for a couple of years now, and we have never had any real issues until this last reunion. To my knowledge our only issue is I did not support her actions at the reunion.
“I posted a very recent picture of myself and Porsha having fun girl time. Outside of this one issue (which after we met for lunch is over as far as I am concerned) Porsha and I always have a great time together. With that said, the only ‘two faces’ that I see is the two of us smiling happily in the picture that I posted.”
Looks like Bailey is taking a classy approach to the fall-out. What do you think? Is Bailey really putting on for the cameras? Was her Ebony photo spread too revealing as Williams suggested?
