Longtime “American Bandstand” — and “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” — host and TV producer Dick Clark died this morning. He was 82.
Clark’s agent Paul Shefrin released a statement that the veteran host died this morning following a “massive heart attack.” TMZ reports that America’s oldest teenager had been in St. John’s hospital in L.A. after undergoing an outpatient procedure last night.
Clark was famous for introducing new talent to America on “American Bandstand ” and throwing the biggest party on New Years Eve. He also hosted “Pyramid.”
