Have you ever contemplated undergoing breast augmentation, but weren’t sure you would be totally satisfied with the final outcome? Thanks to plastic surgeon Norman Rowe you may not have to wonder much longer.
Rowe is busy perfecting his newest invention, Vacation Breasts. An upgrade from his InstaBreasts which allowed women to enlarge their chest for 24 hours, his latest project will increase breasts to a desired size that will last for up to three weeks, he told ABC News.
“Twenty four hours is great, but it’s still just 24 hours,” said Rowe.
The New York-based doctor said the purpose of the procedure is to allow women who are considering a boob job to “see what the weight will actually feel like and what it will be like to live with the new breasts.” He also expects women will use Vacation Breasts for, of course, vacations.
The procedure will involve injecting a saline solution and a well-known additive into patients, according to Rowe. Although those are the only ingredients the surgeon is revealing right now, he also said that he is currently discussing his idea with the FDA.

The surgery is expected to carry the same dangers as other cosmetic injections. “With this procedure, there is the risk of hitting a blood vessel with the injection (forming a hematoma) as well as a risk of infection, and the long-term risks, while they appear low, are unknown at this time. There are also cost issues,” said ABC News Senior Medical Contributor Jennifer Ashton.
The temporary breast augmentation is expected to cost less than Rowe’s InstaBreasts procedure, for which he charges about $2,500.
Rowe added that Vacation Breasts won’t only be popular among women. Boyfriends and husband are also expected to try it out.
“Men might want to use it for pec[toral] or calf implants,” said Rowe.
Vacation Breasts are slated to hit the cosmetic market in 2016.
