Do you ever find yourself fawning over Olivia Pope’s wardrobe and wishing you too had access to such elegant and classy fashions?  Well, as an early Christmas gift,  Scandal star Kerry Washington and the show’s costume designer Lyn Paolo are making your dream come true with their holiday season Scandal line available now at The Limited.

The collection of earth-toned cape coats, laced dresses, sleek trousers, and much more hit The Limited stores today, November 5th.  Washington and Paolo spoke with Us Weekly about what to expect from the Gladiator-vogue pieces.

“We’re so excited to introduce new styles to our Gladiators,” said Washington. “Fans could expect to see Olivia Pope favorites, like the tailored jackets and wide-leg trousers, introduced for fall.  But for the holiday, we’ve also added cozy knit sweaters, ponchos, and sophisticated dresses that are sure to be staples for the season.”

The Olivia Pope-esque outfits are not just for one occasion, according to Paola.  The seasonal line provides stylish ensembles for various fall and winter events.

“The holiday collection offers the perfect balance of work wear, holiday dresses, and cozy knits, all appropriate for the season,” said Paolo. “Plus, we were able to introduce styles we don’t see Olivia wear every day—like the amazing white and black evening gown, inspired by a dress she wore to a White House gala.”

Washington insisted that the ABC drama’s line will leave fans feeling as fabulous as Olivia herself.

“Dressing as a Gladiator means not being afraid to have it all—to be glamorous, smart, powerful, and sexy,” said Washington via InStyle Magazine.  “There’s this history in fashion that in order to be a powerful woman means you have to dress like a man, and we wanted to go away from that. We wanted to figure out how to express both power and femininity through fashion.”

The line is reasonably priced with items sold from $60 to $248.  Check out some of the top looks on the next page.
