Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife, Angela Unkrich, are expecting their second child! The Dancing With the Stars contestant, who has been doing exceedingly well in the competition, made the announcement after performing the rumba on Monday night.
“My son [Alfonso Ribeiro Jr.], it’s his first birthday today, so I’m so happy that he’s here with me. And as a wonderful present, my wife and I decided to get him a little brother or sister,” the 43-year-old actor told the crowd. “We’re having a baby! I wanted to announce it here on the show because I just wanted to say thank you to all the fans and say I love my wife.”
Ribeiro said that the baby is due in the spring. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star, who also has daughter Sierra with ex-wife Robin Stapler, seems thrilled to share the news.
“We were just happy to announce it,” the actor told E! News. “We are certainly along the way. This is not new news. We’ve been holding it for a long time.”
