But Halle Berry’s lingerie line isn’t a new take on women’s undergarments; it’s actually a revival of 80-year-old Parisian line Scandale and is launching in the U.S. in Target stores right on time for the holidays. The mother of Nahla, 6, and Maceo, 1, knows all about keeping things sexy in the bedroom. The Extant star discovered the luxury lingerie line “tooling about Paris” about five years ago, while visiting her French husband Olivier Martinez. Berry is bombarded with offers to endorse products but most aren’t in line with who she really is. Lingerie is something that’s always been important in her life. Instead of simply lending her face to the brand, she partnered with the brand to develop intimates for the Parisian collection and help bring the brand stateside.
The Scandale Paris 10-piece capsule collection features a variety of push-up bras, demi bras, and panties, ranging in price from $7 to $18. Shoppers can choose from animal print, black, swiss dot, crimson, and mesh depending on their mood. Berry, who is an owner of Scandale Paris, made the line affordable so you don’t have to keep wearing that same old “janky” bra.
“I think that it’s really important to bring good quality at this price so that every woman can have a collection of it, you don’t have to have one bra you pay oodles of money for that you wear until it’s dead,” Berry said.
Which one is Berry’s favorite? “All of them. We had 30 more designs, but every single one of these were chosen because these are my favorites,” she said. “They’re ones that I think America will respond to.
