Funny man Marlon Wayans has been hit with a bizarre lawsuit after making a joke on Instagram. Pierre Daniel, who was cast for a role in A Haunted House 2, is suing Wayans and his production company for unspecified damages for racial discrimination and harassment.
Last September, the comedian posted a picture of Daniel alongside animated character Cleveland Brown, from the FOX series “Family Guy” and “The Cleveland Show.” Despite a funny resemblance, Daniel didn’t think the comparison was humorous, accusing the White Chicks star of cyber-bullying.
Daniel says the comparison seriously injured him by causing “shock, pain, discomfort and/or anxiety,” and as a result he can no longer work as an actor. He claims the picture was racially-motivated and mocked his appearance, especially his Afro.
Wayans has yet to comment about the lawsuit.
