Mike Tyson released the first trailer for his new business venture over the weekend – and it may not be what you expect from the former boxer.
The new project, Mike Tyson Mysteries, is a cartoon series – and it was released for the first time at the Comic-Con convention on Friday in San Diego. From the title, it seems like it is a new age Scooby Doo… but featuring Mike Tyson. Tyson has tried a number of career options in recent years including, acting and comedy. Now he can add animated-series creator to his already extensive resume.
Tyson received a standing ovation from the crowd at the convention. In a discussion panel, Tyson joked about not writing for the series and told the audience a bit about what to expect from the show.
The show is set to air this fall on Cartoon Network‘s late night programming, Adult Swim. It will feature Tyson’s voice and other recognizable voices including Norm MacDonald (of Saturday Night Live).
