Imagine living off $6,000 a month. For most of us would be pretty comfortable. But for an actor, that’s like living in the poor house.
Terrence Howard’s feud with his ex-wife Michelle Ghent continues. The Best Man Holiday actor claims Ghent has threatened to blackmail him for spousal support, leaving him with barely $6,000 to live off monthly.
Now, Howard is urging a judge to overturn his alimony payments to Ghent because he simply cannot afford it. He claims a huge chunk of his money goes to ex-wife Lori McMasters to pay spousal and child support. TMZ reports that Howard’s Hollywood checks go straight to McMasters and she cuts him a check after that.
Ghent is not fazed by that claim. According to TMZ, she says Howard owes her $325,000 in spousal support. He argues that they were only married for a year, and he was blackmailed and extorted into signing the settlement. You may remember the former couple had their share of ups and downs that played out in the media. Ghent made several allegations that physical abuse started a week after they were married. After the pair broke up, they reunited for a tropical getaway, where things got a little ugly. Ghent claimed Howard started hitting her after an argument, and he claimed that she used mace on him.
You would think Howard would have learned his lesson by now, but he married his fourth wife Miranda last year. Guess he better dust off his vocal chords and get back in the studio to record another album, so he can make some extra coins.
