The University of Cincinnati Medical Center is being sued by a patient whose STD results were blasted on a Facebook group.

After receiving various STD tests, the medical information of the unidentified woman turned up on “Team No Hoes,” a private Facebook group with 2,200 people in it. The lawsuit describes a screenshot of her medical record, displaying all of her personal information including her diagnosis of syphilis. The woman is suing the hospital for $25,000 in damages after the group listed her as a “slut”, advising others of her STD status.

In the lawsuit filed in Hamilton County on Tuesday, the woman is suing UC Medical Center, an employee named Ryan Rawls, another unnamed UC employee who’s believed to be a nurse, and the woman’s ex-boyfriend, Raphael Bradley. A motive in the case has not been defined, nor has a connection between the victim and the hospital’s employees been established.

The woman’s attorney, Mike Allen told local news his client “was absolutely devastated. That is the most private of private medical information that was posted on Facebook and went out to a group on Facebook that had a huge dissemination,” Allen said. “For an employee of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to post that information on a social media device that millions of people have access to, it’s above and beyond the law and that’s why we feel that they’re responsible.”

According to local reports, the hospital declined comment.
