The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is one of the hottest tickets of the year, so it should come as no surprise that Hollywood’s hottest and newest it-girl, Lupita Nyong’o, hopped over to Liberty State Park in New Jersey Saturday to watch a little polo and sip a lot of champagne. Nyong’o, who allowed her brother Peter to tag along, dressed festively in an Alexander McQueen black and white patterned frock, black wedges that didn’t trample the grass, and the ever-important sun hat. While I’m not in love with her choice of footwear, I think the overall look would be appropriate for a garden wedding or a bridal shower this summer.
