Alcoholic beverages won’t be the only new offerings on Starbucks’ menu.
Earlier this week, Oprah Winfrey made an appearance at the coffee giant’s shareholders meeting in Seattle to announce a new drink called “Teavana Oprah Chai Tea.” CEO Howard Schultz said the beverage would become available at Starbucks and Teavana stores nationwide beginning April 29.
Proceeds from the drink will be donated to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation, which supports the educational efforts of disadvantaged students in South Africa and abroad.
Oprah Chai team will also head to Canadian stores soon.
