Kristjan Ndoj, 15, is in critical condition after being shot Saturday in Shelton, CT.
Ndoj had reportedly received death threats via text message earlier during the week and is now in critical condition.
The Shelton High School sophomore received a text message from a classmate before the shooting, which read, “My boyfriend is going to kill you,” a relative told WTNH-TV.
The gunman shot Ndoj in the head and once in the leg, outside a friend’s house around 8:45 p.m.
The homeowner called 911 after the incident.
Police have been unable to interview Ndoj, who has yet to regain consciousness, according to Shelton Police spokesman Lt. Robert Kozlowsky. However, a friend of the boy says a girl’s boyfriend threatened Ndoj in the past, saying, “If he hangs out with her or talks to her anymore, there’s going to be problems.” Police, though, still haven’t pinpointed any suspects.
Police provided extra security at the high school Monday when kids returned.
