The body of a missing Marple Township woman in Delaware County has been found in a heavily ticketed car.
Nadia Malik, 22, body was found in the passenger seat, completely reclined, with a black duffel bag over her head. The car was found at a main train station, with four tickets on the windshield. The first ticket was issued on February 10, a day after the last day she was seen. Three days later, the car was towed behind the train station for blocking snow removal. After towing, the car was issued an additional three more tickets. How did this go un-noticed?
“If you look at the car, it’s tinted heavily on the back and side windows, and the windshield would have been covered with snow,” said Police Lt. John Walker. From outside the car, a person “couldn’t tell there was a body under the bag until you opened the car and grabbed the bag,” Walker assured.
Malik’s boyfriend and father of her two kids are being held for questioning. He was arrested on probation violation in Solon, Ohio. No charges has been filed.
