The Grammys have just received an added volt of electricity! Power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been added to their lineup. In a commercial which aired on Sunday night, it was confirmed that the couple will perform, as well as heavyweights Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The event has locked down LA’s Staples Center as its venue and will also house performances by Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Daft Punk and Sir Paul McCartney. There has been buzz of Madonna making an appearance, possibly the reason for her latest instagram N-word publicity stunt. The event will mark Beyoncé’s first performance since the release of her critically acclaimed fifth solo studio effort, “Beyoncé,” while husband and often collaborator, Jay-Z is nominated for 9 awards. Catch all of the action on the 56th annual Grammys on CBS Sunday, January 26 at 8pm.
