Madonna has a bit of explaining to do after referring to her son as “#disnigga” on Instagram Friday evening. As she posted a picture of her son Rocco Ritchie boxing at a gym, she felt the need to add the offensive hashtag and all hell broke loose.
“No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni**a,” she wrote. Of course, it didn’t take long for the comments to come pouring in, berating Madonna for her poor word choice.
“Really @madonna ??!!! why do u think it’s EVER appropriate for ANYONE to use that word??!! total disrespect,” wrote one commenter. Another said, “Really @madonna ..??… This is how you talk and act when refering [sic] about your son…?…What a good example as a parent…He’s gonna grow up being a jerk..?!”
Madonna has two adopted children from Malawi.
The post was quickly deleted and replaced with the same photo, but a new caption that read, “Ok let me start this again. #get off of my dick haters!”
The singer has yet to apologize or address the matter.
