Porsha Williams (formerly known as Stewart) appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night and tried to explain her confusion over the Underground Railroad.
In case you missed it, when Porsha went on a trip to Savannah with the rest of the girls from Real Housewives of Atlanta, they paid a visit to a historical underground railroad site. Porsha then asked where the opening was because there had to be a space for the conductor driving the train. I don’t–I just–girl, WHAT?! I don’t think I’ve ever been so perplexed and so sad at the same time.
In any case, she decided to clear the air last night and explain herself. She claims she had “Another ‘Porsha moment’…just a little brain lapse.” She continued, “My brain was just going so fast that it was going faster than I was speaking.” Oh, sweetie…
She added that since the show has aired, she’s done a little research and brushed up on what she already knew (insert eyebrow raise here) because she wants to represent her legacy better than she did. What legacy you might ask? Her grandfather is civil rights activist Hosea Williams, which makes this entire situation all the more pitiful.
Porsha, no amount of explaining can erase ‘Railroad Gate’. It’s clear you had not an iota of a clue about what he underground railroad was about. Maybe next time we let those words catch up to that quick brain of yours before you speak, ok? Watch the video for yourself below:
