Former Beauty & Cover Director Mikki Taylor has devoted 30 long years as an imperative voice to Black women at ESSENCE Magazine. And in a recent interview with Media Bistro, she admits it was her mission from Day One.
“[...] When I got the job, I was ready to go on a mission,” says the Editor-at-Large and now author of Commander in Chic. “It became more than a job from the moment I walked in the doors and began serving black women.”
