Whether it’s his performances, his twitter rants, or his in-your-face behavior, Chris Brown has had his highs and lows. While Brown started out as a wholesome young singer in the mid 2000’s, we’ve watched his antics overshadow his career. From the incident at Good Morning America, to a twitter feud with Country singer Miranda Lambert, to his publicized beef with Drake it seems that the singer can’t get a break. Meanwhile, it seems people still haven’t forgiven him for the beating of his then girlfriend, Grammy-winning artist Rihanna. Apparently fed up, he announced on Twitter yesterday morning that he’s tired of being famous for something he did as an 18 year old  and that his next album will be his final one.

Chris Brown tweets about being famous and his rumored "last album".

I thought that there would be an outpouring of support, but you know how the Twitterati are – bashing for days.

reactions to Chris Brown

I’ll admit I’m not the biggest Chris Brown fan, and as someone who has friends that were in abusive relationships, I find it difficult to see people try to justify what he did to Rihanna, but some people have taken their hate for the singer a little too far.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but what has he done that’s worth calling him the n-word and wishing death on him?

Not for nothing but he does have a new album coming up so this could very well be a publicity stunt.  But to be so well-known and so hated – he just can’t win.

Do you think Chris Brown will ever be forgiven for his past? Or should he just give up living in the limelight for good?
