Just when you thought 2013 couldn’t get any better, musically, this happened.
Pianist/producer Robert Glasper has announced his plans to release Black Radio 2 this fall as a follow-up to his Grammy Award-winning project released in February 2012. His latest effort will arrive Oct. 29.
This time around, Glasper has called on Brandy, Dwele, Emeli Sandé, Lalah Hathaway (who was featured on the first album) and others to help with the second installment. The Robert Glasper Experiment band will smooth is out with with Casey Benjamin on vocoder and saxophone and Derrick Hodge on bass.
