Rae Dawn Chong is pained that noone understands that her seemingly anti- Oprah rant was actually PROprah. To address the confusion, she’s posted a response video on YouTube titled, “Oprah and the N word by RDC.”
In case you’ve been preoccupied with other things today, TMZ released a 2-part radio interview this morning where RDC bitterly rants about the queen of talk. In one part of the interview, it’s clear Chong is still feeling some type of way at how she was treated years ago when she traveled to Chicago to appear on Oprah’s show.
“‘I ended up being backstage and she never called me on stage and I was like, “You know what, f**k you b**ch.”
According to RDC’s response, she admits having issues with Oprah but maintains that anyone who listens to the full interview will realize that she was being complimentary.

–”I starred in Commando. And she just wasn’t having me. She’s competitive. She didn’t like me. She just wasn’t having me.”
–”She is amazing, I respect her. I think she’s done great things for women of color, women of a certain size.”

–”She was that fat chick in school and everybody loved her.”
–”If you look at the way [Oprah] looks, she looks like 60 years ago she would have been a house keeper –luckily. She would have not been a house n**ger she would have been a field n**ger.”
–”No matter how vile she is, because ultimately she’s all about Oprah and she’s boring, you kinda gotta go, ‘hello hats off’ like, you’ve done an amazing thing you have actually shifted the DNA of the universe.”
–” She shifted our DNA in terms of our thinking, of a woman of a certain size, of a certain shade. I love her for that.”
