Uncle Sam is forcing Beyoncé‘s daddy to pay up. Big time.
According to TMZ, Mathew Knowles owes more than $1.2 million in taxes from bringing in the big bucks as his daughter’s former manager, among other titles.
The tax lien filed by the IRS claims Knowles owes $485,575.95 from 2010 and $728,004.89 from 2011, bringing his grand total to $1,213,580.84.
That’s a lot of coins.
In addition to serving as dadager to Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, the 61-year-old music executive launched Music World Entertainment in 1992, which boasts record sales exceeding 300 million worldwide.
The company has worked with artists such as Sunshine Anderson, Juanita Bynum, gospel duo Trin-i-tee 5:7 and others.
