Jamie Foxx will bring the screams this Halloween with a new horror anthology for Syfy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On Wednesday, the network announced its upcoming lineup that will include the five-part series written, directed and executive produced by the Academy Award winner. The series, which falls in line with The Twilight Zone and Tales From the Crypt, is a half-hour spot that will explore themes including envy, jealousy and superficiality.

“This is a project that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and I’m so happy to see it come to life,” Foxx said. “Get ready to lose it when some special friends and I bring the scares this October, and who knows … maybe I’ll make a guest appearance or two along the way!”
The untitled project will be released under the actor’s Foxxhole Production banner and is set to premiere during Syfy’s annual “31 Days of Halloween.”
And for all his outstanding work over the years, the MTV Movie Awards will honor Foxx with the Generation Award at this year’s event. The Django actor, also up for Best Male Performance, will follow in the footsteps of past winners that include Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp and others.
