Dwyane Wade‘s ex-wife Siohvaughn Wade is clearly not backing down anytime soon in the ongoing custody battle between herself and the Miami Heat superstar. Her latest claims accuse Dwyane of depriving their children of life-saving asthma medication, according to TMZ.
Siohvaughn recently filed court documents stating that the NBA champ “has never obtained any asthma inhalers or asthma nebulizer machines for the children since [Dwyane] was awarded children in his custody on March 11, 2011.”
The claim continues, “[Dwyane] recklessly failed to provide the five and ten-year-old children with any medication for a life-threatening illness.” Siohvaughn says the former couple’s two boys suffer from the condition and require constant supervision.
Siohvaughn alleges Dwyane is putting their kids’ lives in danger and has asked a court to order him to be more attentive. She has also asked for more time with her children, as Dwyane is “continuously and willfully making every effort to alienate the children from [her].”
After divorcing in 2010, Wade was granted sole custody of the couple’s children in March 2011. Back in June, Siohvaughn was arrested on attempted child abduction charges, one count of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest.
