Rapper Lil’ Wayne is facing a lawsuit. Fan Alfredo Marino claims a member of the rapper’s entourage hit him in the head with a skateboard back in May 2012.
According to TMZ, Marino says he was attacked after trying to have his picture taken with Lil’ Wayne in Los Angeles last year. Marino’s attorney, Craig Chisvin, filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court. As detailed by TMZ: “a man who works for Wayne grabbed a skateboard and clubbed him in the back of the head.”
Marino says he sustained significant injury to his head as a result of the incident. He also holds Lil’ Wayne and his record label responsible for the run-in because he believes they enabled the attacker.
According to TMZ, Marino has filed a lawsuit for unspecified damages. Lil’ Wayne has not commented.
