After announcing their separation less than a month ago, Bethenny Frankel is divorcing her husband of 2-years, Jason Hoppy.
According to New York court records obtained by TMZ, early this week, Frankel jump-started the process by “filing a summons for divorce, [which] is the first step in the divorce process.”
Forty-two-year-old Frankel married Hoppy in March 2010. She released a statement saying: “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.”
Frankel skyrocketed to fame to after joining BRAVO’s hit reality-TV series Housewives of New York in 2008. She later launched her multimillion-dollar SkinnyGirl brand, landing her the cover of Forbes in June 2011.
