When most people think of first lady style they think of suits and pearls, rarely of leather. This is part of why it’s so great that Michelle Obama rocked a leather jacket by Reed Krakoff with a shirt by Duro Olowu and black jeans during her appearance on Ellen. Can you imagine Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush or any other first lady rocking skinny jeans and a leather jacket? Exactly.
